We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, at the age of 91, Sonja L. Meyer of Caruthers, California, born in Kenmare, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Reverend Ernest Grill and Esther Grill (Rasmussen); her sisters, Carolyn Nelson and Marilyn Christensen; her son David Keith Meyer; and her great grandchild Penelope Meyer.

She is survived by : her husband Marvin Meyer; her children, Brian Meyer, Brent Meyer (Dawn), Heidi Harper (Wade) and Holli Giebler (Michael); her brother Keith Grill (Janet); and her grandchildren, David Meyer, Paul Meyer (Kristen), James Meyer (Aryana), Christian Meyer (Elisabeth), Carl Meyer (Maggie), Peter Meyer (Kyra), Eric Meyer, Nicholas Harper, Nathan Harper, Mitchell Giebler and Claudia Giebler. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loyal friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Fredericksburg Lutheran Church (616 33 Rd, Minden, NE 68959).
