She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierre Wasem and Helene Wasem; her daughter Cathy Rose Amado; her brother John Wasem; and her nephew William Wasem.
She is survived by: her sons, Pierre Amado (Martha Elliott) and Michael Amado (Tasame); her grandsons, Matthew Amado and Daniel Amado; her former husband Albert J. Amado; her nephew John P. Wasem (Barbara); her niece Susan Sevier (Rodney); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Janet Martinusen, Brian Wasem, Scott Wasem and Julie Wasem. She is also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary (11160 Stranwood Ave, Mission Hills, CA 91345). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Eudes Church (9901 Mason Ave, Chatsworth, CA 91311). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery (11160 Stranwood Ave, Mission Hills, CA 91345).
