It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rowland of Chico, California, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Russell Rowland and Woodrow Wilson Rowland (Woody); her close friend Linda Huffmon; and her siblings, Jean Sparks Thomas, Wayne and Carrol Rowland.
She is survived by: her brother Jennings Rowland (Teresa Marie); her sisters-in-law, Carol Rowland, Shirley Rowland and Suzanne Huffmon Esber; and her pets, Teddy and Ginger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, a great great nephew.
