In the vast expanse of eternity, Daniel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daniel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ekkens and Mildred Ekkens; and his sister Ruth Ekkens. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Laura Keller (Eugene) of Dayton, John Holland (Cori) of Kalamazoo, Julie Verhelle (Scott) of Northville and Karen Case (Tim) of Baroda, Michigan.; and his brothers, Richard (Linda) of Lafayette and David (Sharon) of Ooltewah, Tennessee..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chico Adventist Church (1877 Hooker Oak Ave, Chico, CA 95963).
