With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Henry Slater (Chico, California), who passed away on January 29, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Slater and Isabel Slater (Betty); his children, Lindsay Slater (Brandon Slater) and Brandon; his wife Diane; his daughter Rachael; his daughter-in-law Emma; his grandchildren, Dale and Vickie Cummings; and his siblings-in-law, Mike May, Teri Ward, Patrick May and Margie Cavalli.

In lieu of flowers please donate to The Howard Slater Memorial Fund that Revin set up through the North Valley Community Foundation at https://www.nvcf.org. We hope to receive 1000 separate donations (no amount is too small) and generate enough money to help fund an expansion at the Torres Shelter.
