As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Torkelson and Selmer Torkelson; and his brothers, Floyd and Gerald Torkelson (Maryn Torkelson). He is survived by: his daughters, Charlyn Torkelson-Selee and DeeAnn Wilkey (Don); his grandchildren, Jillian Bruton (Brad) and Michael Wilkey; his great grandchild Grace Bruton; and his spouse Maryn Wolff. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lakewood Memorial Park (900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326).
