He was predeceased by: his former wife Dona La Force; the mothers of children, Laurie and Kathy; his wife Lorna La Force; his son Jim La Force Jr.; and his brother Charles La Force.
He is survived by: his great great grandchild James; and his children, Ed Corner, Kathy and Rick Steele. He is also survived by ses 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Community Church of God (995 E Lassen Ave, Chico, CA 95973).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Wounded Warriors, honoring his time in the U.S. military and his heart for service.
