He was predeceased by: his parents, Waunita Demetras and Leonidas "Leo" Demetras; and his close friend Billy Brownell. He is survived by: his wife Susan Toussaint; his daughter-in-law Morgan; his grandsons, Leonidas and Augustus Demetras; and his sisters, Andrea Demetras of Maui and Diane Demetras (Marcel Indik) of Los Angeles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
