He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Turk and Lorraine Hoff Turk; and his brother Bill Turk. He is survived by : his nephew Brian Turk; his wife Charlotte Harkness; his children, Joe Turk and Zara Quintana (Calvin); his stepchildren, Sarah Harkness and Billy Harkness (Sara); his grandchildren, Kyle, TJ, Katie, Cali, Zander, Liam and Hazel; his niece Jean Turk Butenhoff of Delafield, WI; and his cousin Joanne Graham of Chico.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (416 Chestnut St, Chico, CA 95928). A burial will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Chico Cemetery (881 Mangrove Ave, Chico, CA 95926).
