It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Stephens (Chico, California), who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Stephens and Daisy Stephens (Williams). He is survived by: his children, Dayna Stephens Davis (Peter), Denise Stephens Fehlman (Jon), Sherri Lee Stephens, Jason Williams (Jill) and Jill Williams Meyer (Dan); and his grandchildren, Peter Davis Jr., Jon Fehlman Jr., Andrew Fehlman, Richard Davis, Michael Fehlman, Stephen Fehlman, Daniel Fehlman, Abby Meyer, Olivia Meyer and Sophie Meyer. He is also survived by many friends, his and Joanne's children.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Newton Bracewell Funeral Home (680 Camellia Way, Chico, CA 95926). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Chico Cemetery (881 Mangrove Ave, Chico, CA 95926).
