She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeannette Thornton and Hugh Thornton. She is survived by: her husband John Scott; her son Gary (Annie Scott); her grandchildren, Wallace, Thomas and Cosette; her daughter Sonya (Bob Huss); her granddaughter Catalina; her sister Kathy (Grant Clowery); John Ranelletti. She is also survived by extended family; and John's sister.
In lieu of flowers, Sue requested in advance that people support a charity of their choice as she cared deeply about giving back – especially to youth, animals, and our community.
