It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Wilson in Chico, California, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Thelma's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Thelma has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Wilson and Lenora Jack; and her grandmother Amanda Wilson. She is survived by: her aunt Maggie Sowillenno; and her friend Annie Bidwell. She is also survived by her extended family, especially her nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home (680 Camellia Way, Chico, CA 95926).
