He is survived by : his siblings, Kenneth Hering of Oakland Iowa, Margaret Stubblefield of Sioux City, Carolyn Guyer of Red, Patricia Wiegand of Avoca Iowa, Dorothy Hering-Pendgraft of Hancock Iowa and Mary Beatty of Hancock Iowa; his children, Shawna VanHeyningen of Fontana, CA, Carrie Pflugrath (Dave) of Ontario, CA, Milinda Crandall (Kevin) of Phelan, CA and Gary Hering (Christine) of Chino, CA.; his grandchildren, Randall VanHeyningen, Christopher VanHeyningen (Jason), Joshua VanHeyningen (Karla), Alexander VanHeyningen (Emilia), Kayla Thompson, Vanessa Thompson, Alyssa Pflugrath, Corey Pflugrath, Jacob Crandall, Blake Crandall, Chase Crandall, Jayden Hering, Peyton Hering, Jameson Hering and Jaxson Hering; and his great grandchildren, Kendall VanHeyningen-Garcia, Roman Thompson and Wyatt Berry.
