She was predeceased by : her parents, Maria Do Carmo Couto and João Jacinto Ribeiro; and her husband Miguel Silveira Maciel. She is survived by : her children, Ruben Miguel Maciel of Chowchilla and Lilia Do Carmo Vega of Arizona; her siblings, João Do Couto Ribeiro (Boa Hora) of São Jorge and Rosa Maria Santos (Jose) of Faial; and her grandchildren, Owen, Elijah and Priscilla Vega.
