She was predeceased by : her husband Gerald "Jerry" Thissen; her son Gerald; her grandson Christopher; and her siblings, Jan and Dennis.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Thissen of Gustine, Steven Thissen of Vista, Five, Joanne Rogers of Rupert, Carrie Migliore of Fresno, Judy VanTassel of Merced, Marianne Martin of Gustine and Diane Trinta of Patterson; and her sister Carolyn Palmer of West Paris. She is also survived by seventeen Grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
