The world bids farewell to John Patrick Fluetsch of Chowchilla, California, departing on September 11, 2025 at the age of 61. John Patrick leaves behind memories cherished by the community. Though John Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Patrick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jay and Mary Catherine Fluetsch; and his brother-in-law Michael S. Bliss. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Kathleen Moore (Cliff), Mary Jeannette Bliss, Mary Christine Frey (Brett) and Doug Fluetsch (Keli). He is also survived by 5 nephews, and 3 nieces.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (5770 N Maroa Ave, Fresno, CA 93704). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at 19042 Cemetery Ln, Tuolumne, CA 95379.
