It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melody Jo Nye of Chowchilla, California, born in Artesia, California, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Moreland and Marjorie Moreland; her former life partner Lee Nye; and her son Lee Nye Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Michael Fancher; her daughters, Nicole Liberta (Bert), Jody Jo Mize and Jessica Paskin (Ryan); her grandchildren, Taylor Harper, Dominic Liberta, Morgan Norman, Lauren Mize, Vincent Liberta, Tyler Paskin, Preston Paskin and Maddox Paskin; her great grandchildren, Rowan, Merritt and Kinsley; and her siblings, Larry Moreland, Janet Proby and Lani Moreland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
