He is survived by: his parents, Helga Downs and Juan Ramon Barrantes; his stepfather Bill Van Worth; his siblings, Edson Barrantes (Jessica), Irene Lelandais (Joseph), Jennifer Montemurro (Paul) and Mike Van Worth (Monica); and his girlfriend Sabrina Boyett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
