Barbara Jean Lindsey Obituary

Barbara Jean (Hughes) Lindsey was born on March 10th 1941, in Oklahoma, She passed away in her home surrounded by her loved ones on August 26th 2024 in Citrus Heights , Ca .

Barbara "Bobby" is preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Lindsey. Married 49 years now spending eternity together, her father Shelby and mother Anna Hughes, and her older brother Howard "Butch" Hughes .

She's survived by her three children Shelly Lindsey, Edwina Pace, Mark Lindsey, and daughter-in-law Kris Lindsey; her ten Grandchildren, twenty Great Grandchildren, and two Great Great Grandchildren. Her younger brother Michael and sister-in-law Debbie Hughes, and many Nieces, Nephews, and other family near and far.

Barbara was a woman of Faith, a faithful wife, and a loving mother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, thrifting and gardening. She carried love and peace toward her family always. She wanted us to be happy and have joy always! Her greatest achievement in life was loving Jesus, her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will be forever remembered and missed! This is not "goodbye," but "see you later," Mom/Grandma!A graveside service will be held at Sylvan Cemetery on September 10th at 12:30 pm at 7401 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, Ca.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life luncheon at The Lindsey Home following the graveside service.
