She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Eugene Simms and Ethel May Hornsby Simms; and her daughter B. C.. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Alfred Rego; her sons, Blair (Brenda) and Adam (Heather); and her grandchildren, Alexis, Matthew, Madison and Lauren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sylvan Cemetery (7401 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Loaves and Fishes, 1351 N C Street, Sacramento, California in Barbara's memory.
