He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet and William Renfree; his former wife Ruth Renfree; his son John Carl Renfree; and his grandchild Glen David Renfree.

He is survived by: his aunt Eva Thomas; his daughter Mary Thomas Renfree (Gary Kerker); his wife Joan Taylor Renfree; his sons, Jim (Teresa Renfree) and Steven Renfree; his stepdaughters, Sharon Taylor, Julie and Trudy Perdun; and his sister Noreen Trisdale. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many adoring friends.
