With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Ray Kyle of Citrus Heights, California, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kyle and Rose Kyle; and his sister Doris Evans. He is survived by: his children, Dina Mistretta and Randy Kyle; his grandchildren, Tiffany and Nik Mistretta; his great grandchild MaKenna Mistretta; and his pet Molly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in the memory of Dick Kyle may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org or charity of your choosing.

“Growing up together in Redding, Dick and I were best friends from an early age. We were inseparable. We did everything together. In the summertime, we played soldier games from morning to night using wooden guns. We spent hours playing tennis in the middle of the day, shirtless in the brutal Redding sun. It has saddened me to see the effects of his dementia. Dick may be gone, but the memories remain. I still carry in my wallet a Student Body Card, signed by Dick as treasurer. Ward Leslie”
