She was predeceased by : her parents, Esperanza Garcia (Zapien) and Bonifacio Garcia; and her siblings, Olivia Jackson, Emily Rodriguez, Mary Vasques, Frank Garcia, Adolph Garcia and Carlos Garcia.

She is survived by : her children, Irene Martinez and Richard Vasques (Joyce); and her brother Bobbie Garcia. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
