She is survived by: her children, Velia "Nena" Villalpando Corrigan, Blanca S. Matz, Mary A. Garza, Jose V. Garza and Julia A. Jones; and her former husband Nena. She is also survived by her five children, nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
