He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Markoulakis and Georgia Markoulakis; his wife Chrisula Tsirindani; and his son Gregory. He is survived by: his brothers, John and Angelo; his aunt Helen Sooklaris; his daughter Georgia Ellenikiotis; his daughter-in-law Sophia Markoulakis; and his grandchildren, Eleni Ellenikiotis (David Soleimani-Meigooni), Soula Ellenikiotis (Rocky Jagir), Chrisoula Markoulakis (Josh Shargel), Yianni Ellenikiotis (Victoria Han), George Markoulakis (Cory Dodson) and George Ellenikiotis (Kelsie Ellenikiotis). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greek Orthodox Church. A prayer will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Greek Orthodox Memorial Park (1148 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014).
