She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Roberson and Willie Mae Roberson; her sister Esther Henderson; and her grandchildren, Paul, Percy "Mister" Sewell, Justyn, London, Miles, Max Hoxie and Tia Moreno.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne A. Hoxie; her children, Zelray Maleek Sims and Tamara "Crista" Hoxie; her brother-in-law Jimmy Henderson of Little Rock, Arkansas.; and her goddaughter Marcella Brison.
