She is survived by: her husband Kennith White; her stepdaughters, Corie Oakes (John) and Debbie White; and her brothers, Cliff Peebles, Jim Peebles and Walt Peebles. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.

Instead, she requested that a living plant be given in her memory, or that donations be made to Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
