She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Deller and Florene Perry; her siblings, Melba Ann Deller and Ben Deller Jr.; and her husband Richard Sherrill.

She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Deller Bowley, Jackie Arrington, Charles Deller and Jack Perry; her children, Dewayne Sherrill, Kenneth Sherrill, Brenda Sherrill-Otterbein and Kevin Sherrill; and her grandchildren, Michael Fox, Jessica Otterbein Matheny, Justin Otterbein, Brittney Sherrill and Neko Pierson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
