She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond John Ryan and Helen Kelly Ryan; her son Ryan Hurst (Kelley Hurst); her granddaughters, Helen Caroline and Olivia Hurst; her husband Robert Begland; her sons, Hugh, Kyle and Evan Begland; and her pet Ragsy Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Rae Jean requests donations be made to the IU Simon Cancer Center for liver cancer.
