We bid farewell to James F. Kelly Jr. Ed. D. (Coronado, California), born in New Haven, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 18, 2025 at the age of 94. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Charlane A. Kelly; his children, Terrence Kelly (Lori), Robina Siers (Steve) and Carisa Saavedra (Norm); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Kelly, Kyle Kelly and Taylor Saavedra.
Jim's civic involvement included serving as President of the San Diego Lions Club and the Navy League Council, Forman of the San Diego County Grand Jury, and President of the Boys and Girls Foundation of San Diego.
