He is survived by : his children, Scott (Kathy), Lorri Reinders (Jeff), Jon, Erik (Kristina), James (Ruth-Ellen), Megan (Mike), Heide (Andrew), Mathew, Christian, Sierra (Jon), Emma and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Faith, Walter, Kennedy, Auggie and Hudson. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.

Memorial gifts may be given to Marin Lutheran Church, Elim Lutheran Church, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
