It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy W. Ypma (Costa Mesa, California), born in Libertyville, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Nancy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Nancy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary H. Wells and Aubrey V. Wells; and her son Edward. She is survived by: her husband John; and her children, Catherine (Paul), Nancy, John (Jan), Mary Frances (Ken), Margaret (Virgil) and Georgia (Philip). She is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 39 beautiful great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 2037 S Capella Ct, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memory Garden Memorial Park & Mortuary (455 W Central Ave, Brea, CA 92821).
