It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Ruth Gruver of Crescent City, California, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George William and Verna May Harrison (Whitney); her husband Frank Gruver; and her siblings, George Peterson, Alice Austin and Opal Fischer.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Langworthy, Corrine Thogmartin and Daryl Gruver; her brothers, Irvin Peterson and Harold Harrison; and her grandchildren, Naomi Langworthy, Michael Perry, Thomas Perry, Scott Perry, Krista Keeley, Samantha Petrigni, Rebecca Gruver and Travis Gruver. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Smith River Baptist Church (340 Highland Ave, Smith River, CA 95567).
