He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Skidmore and Erma Skidmore. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Skidmore, Betsy Skidmore, Daniel David Skidmore Jr. and Patti Skidmore; and his wife Cathy Springford. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
