“Geri and I joined the faculty in the language department at Loyola High in the same year if my memory serves me. That first day in 1998 she had a radiant smile on her lovely face. When I retired in June 2015, she still was wearing that same smile. To say she inspired everyone in the Loyola family through her heroic battle with a life-threatening illness all those years is simply an understatement. She was “a woman for others.” Never forget you. Sharing in your sorrow. With love and friendship.”
