He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Mosca and Albert Leo Mosca. He is survived by: his wife Janie Carolyn Mosca of Geneva, AL.; his children, Christina Carolyn Poff (Richard) and Phillip Robert (Bobby) Mosca (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Richard Glynn Poff III (Richie), Patrick Phillip Poff and Caterina Carolynn Mosca; his sisters, Patricia Ward (Bruce) and Jaqueline Lam (Charlie); and his siblings' children, Amanda, Meredith, Michael, Thomas and Mark.
A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Briarwood Presbyterian Church (2200 Briarwood Way, Birmingham, AL 35243).
In leu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Mr. Mosca's honor to the Urology Health Foundation (urologyhealthfoundation.org) or Autism Support of Alabama (autism-alabama.org).
