We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Annie Cheng (Daly City, California). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Annie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Annie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Walker Scruggs; her sisters, Yvonne and Wendy Cheng; her brother-in-law Anthony Cheung; her mother Suzanne Cheng; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Collier Scruggs, Craig Lamont Scruggs and Margaret Blair Fritz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annie's memory to the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute (https://nationalzoo.si.edu), her favorite place to see the pandas she adored, or to the World Wildlife Fund (https://www.worldwildlife.org), in support of global panda conservation.
