He was predeceased by: his parents, Denis Griffin and Margaret Griffin (Kerry); his siblings, Mary Brosnan, John (Jack), Gerald, Margaret Shea (Peggy), Denis (Sonny) and Kathleen Helland (Kitty); and his wife Mary Griffin.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael, Jr. (Sarah) and Daniel; his grandchildren, Denis (Jordan) and Maureen Waltz (Joseph); his great grandchildren, Grant and Sage; and his caregiver Maggie. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, and their children.
