She was predeceased by: her parents, Guido B. Croce and Conchita Croce. She is survived by: her husband Michael McKay; her children, Charlie and Maddy McKay; and her sister Kathy Lindsey (Mike). She is also survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law and adoring nieces and nephews.
Mimi and Mike's Catholic faith took them from St. Athanasius in Mountain View, to St. Raymond in Menlo Park and finally, during COVID, they found a spiritual home at St. Ignatius.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 3, 2026, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 650 Parker Avenue, San Francisco, California, with prelude music beginning at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. In Mimi's memory, the family welcomes donations to Leptomeningeal Cancer Foundation or the Mimi McKay Memorial site of the Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra.
