He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita. He is survived by: his children, Gerald Nolan Muir (Loretta), Lynn J. Muir Jr. (Linda) and Patricia Ann Owen (Greg); and his brother Alan Muir (Diane). He is also survived by six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Laguna Niguel (28291 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (28291 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at the Bountiful City Cemetery (2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, UT 84010).
