She was predeceased by: her father Rowland Patrick Hanley Sr.; and her close friend Paul Hutton. She is survived by: her mother Carol Volpe Hanley of Boise; her siblings, Kathleen, Claudine (Jake Moorefield), Colleen (Jonathan Prior), Rowland (Shannon Alt), Joseph, Kevin and Matthew; and her nieces and nephews, Myrene, Irisha, Zyra, John Rowland, Roman, Felix, James, Nominick and Fletcher.
She fondly told how Gail King – along with Denise D'Ascenzo and Don Lark – pitched in the final few thousand dollars she needed for her American Cancer Society bike trip across the country.
