It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Schumaker (Dana Point, California), born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Jared and Hayley; his children-in-law, Lindsey and Anthony; and his grandchildren, Brody, Presley, Keaton and Lyndyn.

In honor of Wayne and in lieu of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to be made to the Ronald McDonalds House Charities- Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

“So sorry to just learn of Wayne's passing. I worked with Wayne at Beaches and Harbors for a number of years and loved the guy. He was very proud of his family and talked about them frequently. He was also wonderfully irreverent with a great sense of humor. He will be missed. Dennis Heitmann”
