He is survived by: his wife Mary Eskes; his son Jack; his siblings, Celesta Schmelzer (Jeffery) of Bremen, Julia Fox (Kevin) of Raleigh, NC, Diane McGee (Jerome) of Lancaster, Jennifer Blackston (Paul) of Lancaster, Robert (Charles Stanford) of Chicago, IL, Stan of Cincinnati, William (Jennifer) of Westerville, Vincent (Michele) of Lancaster, Theodore (Kelly) of Lodi, WI, Jeffrey (Lara) of Cincinnati and Eric (Carrie) of Columbus; and his friends, Brian Alexander, Pat Murphy, Jim Novack, Matt Prantil and Graham Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Mike's family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support glioblastoma research or to your local humane society in honor of Mike, a man who loved dogs.
