He is survived by: his child Ema Lou Dean; his significant other Annelies Hamilton; his brother Dr. Tom Dean; his children, Sandy and Jeff; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Sarah, Thomas and Emma; and his great grandchild Ceci.
