He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elsie Raabe and Otto Raabe; his wife Evelyn "Lynn" Kircher; and his children, Diana (Kelly), Otto, Kathy (Csaposs), Bruce, Sara (Wardell-Smith), Liane, Mike (Rumsey), Ruth and Peter (Vellutini).
