Ralph A. Ernst Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph A. Ernst (Davis, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ambrose and Catherine; his sisters, Dorothy Texter of Delton, Phyllis Brownlee of Ypsilanti and Cathy Rogers (Bill) of Battle Creek; his stepchildren, John (Paula) of Lake Stevens and Marian; his adoptive daughter Carol Ernst of Davis; his stepson Sherief Farid (Lixang Zhang) of Gold River; and his grandchildren, Sean Cohen, Joshua Ernst, Isabella Bigelow, Mohamed and Nour Farid (Sharon Harrison). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
