Shirley Rae Pound Maus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2025, at the age of 98, Shirley Rae Pound Maus (Davis, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Shirley leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Maus; her daughter Pamela Maus; and her parents, Carletta Vennewitz and Benjamin Slaven. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Maus (Jennifer Mainini) and John Maus (Debbie); her cousin Jim McDonald; Bert.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Davis Community Church (412 C St, Davis, CA 95616).
Those wishing to honor Shirley's memory are asked to consider a donation to the UC Davis Arboretum or a charity of their choice.
