He was predeceased by : his wife Hope Mata; his sons, Lawrence Mata and Manuel Reynoso; and his siblings, Ted, Joe Mata, Augie Percival, Amelia Gazell, Rita Green and Lola Castillo-Reynoso.
He is survived by : his children, Valerie Lugo (Al), Raul Mata and Gloria Bailey (Jim); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Jimenez (Thomas) and Alexander Lugo; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin and Wyatt Jimenez; and his siblings, Lucy Lainas, Kathleen Knisely, Felix and Albert Mata.
