As we bid adieu to Welles' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Welles has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her husband Gerry of Bend, Oregon.; her sister LaRae of Davis; her children, Dave, Gary and Janet of Davis; and her grandchildren, Claire, Gary Jr. and Melissa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions in Welles's name be made to UC Davis Women's Basketball or Hospice.
