He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Gutierrez and Fedora Gutierrez; and his siblings, Lydia Lopez, Juan Manuel Gutierrez and Rogelio Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his wife Raquel Gutierrez of Wasco, California; his children, Fedora Gutierrez of Wasco, California, Ismael Gutierrez of Wasco, California, Melida Montoya (Octavio) of Bakersfield, California., Adan Gutierrez Jr. (Renee) of Bakersfield, California. and Sylvia Gutierrez of Bakersfield, California.; and his siblings, Eva Lara of Edinburg, Texas, Ofelia Cavazos (Alvaro) of Santa Maria, California, Oralia Diaz of Portland, Oregon, Paulita Gutierrez (Adrian Cruz) of Shafter, California, Fernando Gutierrez Jr. (Ludivina) of Santa Maria, California and Maria Gutierrez of Houston, Texas.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Basham Funeral Care (343 State Ave, Shafter, CA 93263). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (300 W Lerdo Hwy, Shafter, CA 93263).
